To move forward in the financial aid process you must complete the FAFSA. I recommend completing this as soon as possible to avoid enrollment delays.
- Go to www.pin.ed.gov and select your own pin number. When prompted, choose to view your pin immediately.
- If you have previously requested a pin you can skip this step.
- If you don't remember your pin you can request a duplicate.
- Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and complete the 2009/2010 (referencing your 2008 tax documents) and/or 2010/2011 (referencing your 2009 tax documents) FAFSA.
- You are a full-time student in the WPC Adult Degree Program
- WPC's school code is 003225
Once you complete your FAFSA please send me an e-mail (dtuesta@warnerpacific.edu) so I can keep my eye out for it in our system. The FAFSA usually takes 3-7 days to process.
About 1/3 of students are selected for verification (which is why it is so important to complete your FAFSA as soon as possible). If you are selected I will let you know and we'll take the necessary steps to get you financially prepared to begin school. To complete verification WPC's Financial Aid Department will need a completed verfication form and copies of the tax documents (1040, W-2, etc.) used to complete the FAFSA.
